The Space Design Team was founded in 2008 and trades as Shanghai Geqiang Technology Co., Ltd. We focus on technological innovation in interior partition systems, hold 9 Chinese patents, and have passed a number of product tests and certifications. Guided by our principle “Safe partitions by SpaceWall”, more than a decade of careful work has seen our systems applied in numerous large projects, earning wide recognition for quality and for professional service.
“Innovation by design. Design by innovation.” is the philosophy the Space team has always held to. Across many projects we have seen demand for bespoke design grow steadily — a demand that goes well beyond how transparent a divided space looks, and places higher requirements on finishes, function, construction efficiency and assembly precision.
In 2013 the design team redefined the way we develop systems. Adopting European Technical Approval (ETA) methods, and holding strictly to the four design standards for interior partitions — fire resistance, strength, acoustics and environmental performance — we formally positioned the product as the SpaceWall Space Wall System. It brings fire-rated, non-fire-rated and decorative panel ranges together with functional combinations such as integrated wall cabinets and meeting rooms, to meet the varied needs of the market.
Against the backdrop of China’s “dual carbon” goals (peak carbon and carbon neutrality) and the shift towards a green building industry, in 2023 we brought System Reconstruction Technology together with prefabricated assembly techniques and developed the OS Origin System — making circular construction a reality for interior partitions that can be taken apart and rebuilt.
